Customer Service Agent - Contract

Premium Freight Customer Service Agent 3 - 6 month contract

My client is an European and worldwide time critical and freight forwarding service working on a 24 hour basis. We are the UK arm of the largest and most successful group in Europe, specialised in time critical logistics with offices in 18 countries.

The methods of transportation used include dedicated aircraft and helicopter charter, on board courier service, express airfreight and dedicated vehicles.

Our service is open 24 hours per day / 365 days per year.

Role Overview

Working within our operations team you will take calls from clients, input requests into our system, assist the team in finding delivery options open to them, cost out these options and respond to the client, detailing your recommendations and timings.


You will be trained in all aspects of the role including the use of our in house systems.

Working Hours

Normal office hours are 9.00 - 17.00 however there is also the possibility of working 07.00 15.00 or 08.00 16.00

Preferably but not essential you will have some experience of road or air transport services. A keen eye for detail and accuracy is important as well as the ability to be productive while in a fast paced environment. Good communication skills with colleagues as well as shippers and carriers, is essential for success in this position.

This is a contract position for 3 to 6 month which could be extended
