Job Role:
As a Field based Account Manager you will be the first point of contact for a portfolio of customers. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of your customer accounts, develop existing relationships and identifying new opportunities to ensure profitable growth.

This role can also be a Hybrid mix of new business and existing business, with a mixed target and opportunity to earn commission based on both the growth of existing accounts and bringing on new accounts.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage your own portfolio of new and existing customers.
- Developing relationships and partnerships with new and existing customers
- Serve as the main point of contact for customers.
- Meet targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives within assigned accounts.
- Meet assigned expectations for profitability.
- Achieve customer objectives defined by company management.
- Negotiate and successfully close sales opportunities to meet and exceed agreed sales targets within the target markets agreed by management.
- Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel both internally and externally.
- Maintain and develop the computerised CRM system.
- Work within an existing supplier base.
- Respond and follow up any business enquiries via telephone, email, and personal visits when deemed necessary.

Skills and Requirements
- Previous experience from within a Domestc Parcels, Pallets or International Courier/e-commerce background is essential
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Detail driven and adherence to deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work on own initiative, self-motivated and tenacious.
- Computer literate with knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience in customer facing role.
- Excellent team-worker with drive and enthusiasm.
- Familiarity with CRM software *desirable.
- Account Management experience *desirable.
