Internal Sales Executive

Our Client is a market leader in the provision of international and domestic parcel solutions to both businesses and home addresses.

An exciting opportunity has now arisen for a INTERNAL SALES EXECUTIVE based of our clients LEEDS headquarters with the option to also work from home. You will be working in one of the Area Sales Teams with your primary responsibility will be to achieve your individual sales targets for volume and revenue in line with the strategy of the business for size of customer and product mix. Secondly, working alongside your individual Regional Sales Manager you will spend approx. 25% of you your time sourcing leads, making outbound calls and arranging appointments for opportunities outside of your target clients size.

You will be responsible for generating your own leads and developing a pipeline to convert into new clients within a defined area.

You will be accountable for:

Identifying and developing a personal prospect pipeline of sufficient quality and quantity to deliver against monthly, quarterly and annual volume and revenue targets as set by the business

Meeting all set KPIs and achieving productivity targets

Managing and recording sales activity and sales process through the CRM System

Onboarding new clients in a timely manner to meet projected go-live dates.

Ensuring all new clients have a full understanding of our clients Customer Service processes and have all the tools and contacts required to self-serve across all areas of the business

Monitoring the performance of new clients to ensure they trade to profile across all products and services within 6 weeks of go-live.

New clients are ready to hand over within 4 weeks of trading

Resolving escalations and account queries

Working with local operations team to promote new client awareness and to ensure expected level of service is achieved

Sales experience in EXPRESS and INTERNATIONAL PARCELS, TRANSPORT, PALLETS and FREIGHT FORWARDING is desirable but not essential. Most importantly the ideal candidate will have TELESALES experience & be looking for a long term career with a successful forward thinking company.

£25k - £28k Basic salary
OTE £15K plus
Career path into Field Sales if desired
26 days holiday plus BH
