Senior Sea Freight Exports Clerk

Our client is a well- established international freight forwarder who are now looking for an experienced Sea Freight Exports Clerk to join their growing Bradford branch.

For over 150 years my client has been handling export and import shipping requirements throughout Europe and Worldwide. Their reputation is based on their caring, customer focused service and competitive pricing

We are now looking for an experienced Senior Sea Freight Export Freight Co-ordinator handling the full Sea freight export cycle from start to finish

Working within a busy sea freight export operation. The successful applicant would be required to liaise with clients, handle quotations, complete documentation, up to final delivery including customs procedures

- Taking sea freight booking by telephone and email
- Providing quotations for new and existing clients
- Completing Export documentation and negotiating rates
- Dealing with customer queries and complaints
- Liaising with overseas agents
- Invoicing

Qualification & Skills
Previous experience in Sea freight exports movements is essential.
You must have a good telephone manner and be able to work as part of an established team as well as on their own initiative.
With a good level of education and be computer literate.
Full training will be given in the use of our own inhouse system.

Salary £25,000 to £35,000
The position is full time. Hours are Monday to Friday 9am 5.30 pm
1 hour for lunch.
20 days holiday to start + 8 bank holidays.
Company bonus scheme which is paid annually.
Car parking on site.
