Freight Operations Clerk


We now have a new opportunity for a Freight Forwarding Clerk to get involved with multi modal movements. Handling Air, Sea and Trailer both Imports and exports to join a fantastic freight forwarder company in their Bristol office.

A global Freight Forwarder with a simple approach. They believe Logistics is about providing clients with a service you can count on. Their team is focused on achieving a single goal of ensuring your goods arrive where you need them to be on time, every time. The services they offer include Air Freight, Sea Freight, Surface Freight, Warehousing, Distribution, Fairs & Exhibition and Projects.

Joining an already established and successful team you will get involved with all aspects of your customer import and export needs, a large client is a pharmaceutical client so any experience gained in dealing with freight in this sector would be advantageous

Responsibilities include taking bookings, quotations, customs entries using the internal linked imports and exports customs entries system

Dealing with a worldwide market, organising haulage and dealing with shipping or airlines to get the best rates.

We are looking for an experienced candidate to apply who have air / sea or road experience, my client will offer training on modes as long as you have one and we are welcoming candidates with imports or exports or both.
You must have worked within the freight forwarding industry and have air, sea or road freight experience to apply

Benefits

Salary - £22,000 to £33,000
Plus, Benefits
9am - 5pm or 8am - 4pm - Monday to Friday
