Internal Sales Support Coordinator

Our client a leading Supply Chain & Logistics partner company are looking to appoint an Internal Sales Support Coordinator at their Salford site in Manchester

Purpose of Role:

The primary role of the sales support is to support the Field based Business Development team in their aims in prospecting new clients and developing further opportunities with established customers. In addition, the role is responsible for working with global procurement and local operations teams to ensure customers expectations are met and/or exceeded.

Job Responsibilities:
Provide ongoing support to Field based BD team including
oProviding rate quotations to customers
oAssisting with presentation materials as required
oTargeted telephone sales
oAssist with on boarding of new customers
Work closely with operations team.
Building close and effective working relationships with a network of contacts within prospective customers.
Assist in closing new business deals by coordinating requirements and solutions globally;
Work with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation and transition to Account Management team upon new business is awarded
Use the appropriate questionnaire for data collection from clients. Analyse data and report back to BD team
Collaborate with Project Team, Cost Modelling and Operations teams to build an optimal solution; present findings and recommendations

Job Requirements:
Experience in a similar role
Freight Forwarding experience desired
Strong ability to understand, communicate with, and effectively interact with people across cultures and countries
Results oriented approach with excellent analytical and organisational skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as experience communicating and influencing with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels across multiple business units.
An entrepreneurial mindset, with the tenacity to develop ideas independently and thrive in fast-paced environment is crucial.
A team player.

£26.5k but there could be room for negotiation
25 days holiday plus the bank holidays with an additional merit day at 5, 10 & 15 years
