Customer Service - Pallet Distribution

Our client established 17 years ago our client are a family-owned, friendly and hard-working company offering transport, pallet distribution, logistics and maintenance services to manufacturers, distributors, and online retailers.

Team of 55 staff including drivers and 45 Trucks

Job Description:

The Transport company are proud members of a Pallet Network and due to unprecedented growth, are increasing their capacity to provide an increased service.

They are currently recruiting for a Customer Service to join a friendly and fast-growing team in Avonmouth. The role will involve dealing with all aspects of customer services.

Main Responsibilities Include:
- Manage a pool of accounts.
- Speak with delivering depots daily, dealing with any issues and problem solving.
- Log and communicate efficiently with other depots and customers.
- KPI reporting for customers.
- Experience in dealing with external and internal customers.

Essential Skills:
- Transport customer service background
- Attention to detail with a passion for customer services.
- Excellent time management skills and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise and work under pressure.
- Proactively take ownership and can deliver the appropriate solutions and making recommendations for the customer.
- Ensure all customer request and queries are dealt with promptly.
- Ensure that the systems are kept up to date.
- Great telephone manner
- Effective problem-solving abilities.

Rate of pay £18,000 - £22,000

Immediate start for the right candidate.

Job Type : Full-time, Permanent. Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm flexible
