Sea Freight Manager

Now due to continued expansion and development we now have an exciting opportunity for a Sea Freight Imports Manager based in Dartford. Joining a global player your role will concentrate on managing a team of Imports specialists and looking after the major accounts for the imports teams

Your role will involve managing the day-to-day operations of a busy Sea imports department managing a team of 7 in imports. You will get involved in customer liaison and customer service management

You will delegate and monitor employee daily workloads, assist in recruitment and selection of new staff, coaching and leading your team and driving through management

You will also have full profit and loss responsibility for the imports department

You and your team will present quotations, coordinating sea freight movements and handle all the customer service aspects of your clients sea freight imports movements

We are looking for candidates to apply with experience gained from a Sea imports freight forwarding background. You must have supervised or managed a team and want to work for a fast paced and dynamic company in a varied and challenging role with excellent promotional opportunities to go into a more senior role in the future

Salary and Benefits

£42,000 To £55,000
Healthcare After Qualifying Period
Pension up to 5% After Qualifying Period

23 Days holiday to start rising with length of ser
