Night Shift Manager - Express Parcels

Our client is a key player in the Express Parcels market offering an extensive coverage and service throughout the UK.

They are now recruiting for a NIGHT SHIFT MANAGER based out of Aa busy site in HERTFORDSHIR to work the hours of 12am to 10am Monday Friday.

Managing a team of and 10 warehouse operatives, plus an RPO and Supervisor on the shift your role will be to manage the shift and team making sure all the vehicles are unloaded , parcels are sorted and delivery vehicles mix of 7.5T and 3.5T vans are loaded up and sent out on time. Your role will be very hands on with regards to the operation , in a very physical environment where a strong leader is required to manage, motivate, discipline and develop your staff, whilst making sure all KPI's are met.

There are 29 routes at the depot

The night shift needs someone to come in and sort the shift out first, before stepping back and amanging the processes.

The team is in need of a real strong leader to run the Operation at a high level and is a great opportunity for the right candidate to show what they are capable of and grow their career.

To be the successful candidate for this position you will have a strong background in Express parcel operations and have worked a NIGHT SHIFT before. You will have experience of working as a manager or supervisor in a courier/parcels environment and be a strong leader and motivator of people. You will be self motivated and highly organised.

£28,000 TO £30,000 Basic
Quarterly Bonus - £1,000 to £2,000 per Qtr
20 days holiday
