Account Manager

Our client is a large international supplier of workwear -uniforms, well established they have grown to become one of the leading British manufacturers of chef whites and hospitality clothing. Providing full uniform solutions to some of the biggest chain businesses in the UK and not just for the hospitality sector; bespoke uniform items, construct workwear ranges, manufacture products, as well as managing the supply chain to not only supply but to rent, clean and re supply

We are now looking for a Customer Service Account Executive/Account Manager with a home base your territory will involve managing clients across the Central Southern areas incorporating Kent, across to Oxford and into Bristol.

Responsibilities and Duties

Managing an existing and expanding portfolio of customers
Dealing with existing customers by proactive and reactive scheduled visits, telephone and email.
Responding to customers issues, queries & complaints in the appropriate manner, ensuring the situations are resolved to the customers satisfaction.
Managing your own diary in the most cost effective and efficient manner.
Carrying out scheduled stock audits.
Effective and collaborative communication with all internal and external stakeholders
Installing, and managing new contracts and change over service agreements.
Creating the necessary information to facilitate timely installations & change overs.
Attending departmental meetings on an as & when required basis.
Supporting the office based central Customer Service department.
Any other administration duties deemed necessary to assist with the smooth & professional running of this very important and developing department.

Experience required

Full UK Driving Licence with sound geographical knowledge of Southern England (outside the M25)
Previous experience in a similar role, contract account management, ideally gained in the Laundry workwear industry
Can create and develop long term successful business relationships.
Be proactive, self-motivated and have a high level of enthusiasm.
Excellent verbal, mathematical and written skills.
Possessing the ability to learn effectively and apply problem solving techniques.
An excellent organiser who is proactive can prioritise well and has an eye for detail.
Previous experience of using a CRM system (desirable)
Computer literate in MS Office programs - Outlook, Word, Excel.
