Billings & Cash Manager

We are now looking for a Billings & Cash Manager based in Kings Cross London with regular overseas travel.This is a newly created, exciting and challenging role, which involves 5 main key objectives...

1:To manage the groups Customer Billings team, ensuring your team calculate all invoices correctly and issue to external customers promptly. Dealing with any queries from external customers or internal stakeholders and resolving quickly and accurately
2:Managing the detailed checking of supplier billings and supplier efficiencies relating to customer collections, gateway operations and processing, ground and airfreight linehaul, customs clearance, final mile parcel deliveries and parcel returns and imports, referring all potential anomalies to relevant Operations Manager
3:Manage the customer claims process for any lost of delayed delivery, logging claims, fully investigating and calculating credits for authorisation
4:Help manage the groups cash, cashflow, FX exposure.
5:Manage the month end Customer Billings close and prepare insightful group customer billings, supplier billing and other management information

Skills Required

Attention to and passion for working with intricate financial details
Strong manager with the ability to prioritise, plan and direct staff working remotely
Able to plan strategically, set priorities and KPIs
Strong process re-engineering and process improvement skills
Able to meet tight deadlines particularly at month ends
Advanced Excel and database manipulation
Ability to work in fast paced environment

Qualifications and Experience

Undergraduate degree in Business of equivalent
4+ years managing a Finance team (ideally a Customer Billing team)
Part qualified Accountant

Salary and Benefits

Salary circa £55,000 per annum.
25 days holiday, Cycle-to-Work, Wellbeing and more
The hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm
