HR Business Partner

We are seeking a dynamic HR Business Partner reporting to the Regional HR Business Partner. This challenging role will involve being part of the UK HR Team, providing support and coaching to line managers and to assist with the implementation and delivery of excellent HR initiatives. This role will require you to be a quick thinker with the ability to drive processes that are essential to keeping our business operating.


Our client is a well-established global service provider to the Freight forwarding, express and international parcels, warehousing and logistics industry. The network has more than 354 locations across 60 countries and with 13,000 employees serving alliance customers and attending to the details of their business round the clock, around the globe.


OBJECTIVES

To develop cross functional relationships within the business and to develop and build business knowledge and commercial awareness by working closely with managers, employees and team members.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Complete End to End HR Lifecycle activities and human resources programs by providing human resources services, including but not limited to:
Grievance and disciplinary processes
Talent acquisition
Resourcing
Employment processing
Compensation & Benefits
Health and welfare benefits
Training and development
Records management
Health and safety
Succession planning
Employee relations and retention Performance Management
Appraisals
Legal compliance
Completing personnel transactions
Administrative tasks

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum CIPD Level 5 Qualification
Drivers license and must be willing to use own vehicle
Proven knowledge of employment legislation
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Diplomatic with good negotiation skills
Ability to work on your own initiative
Outstanding administrative and organizational skills
Ability to work under pressure
Assertive and confident
Ability to work with personnel at all levels
Tact and the ability to deal with difficult situations Proficient IT skills
Advocate of career development and training within the workplace
Strong intercultural and interpersonal skills to support, advise, coach and influence others
Attention to detail and ability to manage successfully towards timelines

BENEFITS

Start Date - ASAP
Salary - £35K - £40K per annum depending on experience
Hours - Monday to Friday - 9:00am to 5:30pm with a 30 minute break (40 hr working week) - Please note there will be a requirement for flexibility surrounding working hours as the HRBP will need to be able to conduct meetings, complete Training and liaise with the night staff as and when required throughout the duration of the candidates employment.
Bonus - Eligible for scheme - 10%
