Depot General Manager

Our Client is a market leader in the provision of international and DOMESTIC PARCEL solutions to both businesses and home addresses.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Depot General Manager to join our clients very busy site in MAIDSTONE.

Reporting to an Area Manager, the DGM role is the pivotal role to provide leadership and direction to the depot team. The DGM position plays an influential role to liaise and network with other parts of the business such as Finance, Hubs & Trunking, HR and the Commercial teams. The role is fully responsible and accountable for the people, service, cost and quality performance of a specific depot. Driving the best operational performance for the depot will be key as the role will have full profit and loss accountability. Key to the role is improving the key performance indicators to ensure depot targets are achieved.

To apply for the role ideally you will that you have experience from within the Express Parcels or Distribution industries at either a General Management or Depot Management level. You must have managed operations teams previously, have a strong commercial background and have a knowledge compiling and working to budgets. You will be expected to have a good level of intelligence, trustworthy and a people person with a strong management technique.

Salary £45k - £55k Basic salary
