Head of Account Management

Our client is a market leader in providing UK and INTERNATIONAL MAIL, PACKETS and PARCEL solutions to the business world.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a HEAD OF KEY ACCOUNTS to manage nationally a team of both desk based and field based Key Account Managers and to manage our clients growing portfolio of both PRIVATE and PUBLIC SECTOR customers. You will be dealing with both UK DOMESTIC and INTERNATIONAL MAIL / PARCEL solutions, with the main focus being DSA MAIL (Down Stream Access) and small PACKET and PARCEL services & associated value added services.

Reporting directly to the Sales and Marketing Director you will be responsible for working with & developing these important blue-chip customers. The role will demand the development of profitable, long term relationships at the highest level with customers across a range of sectors. Additional revenue growth opportunities will need to be identified & pursued to a successful conclusion. You will be articulate, able to communicate at all levels, well presented & able to bring 'gravitas' to any relationship.

Finally you MUST have Key/Major/Account team management experience gained ideally within in a DSA / POSTAL SERVICE PROVIDER or similar related services company or background. You will need to demonstrate a robust knowledge of sales process, account mapping and planning and the management of tender response.

up to £55k basic salary
