Senior Imports Specialist

Our client is the expert on sustainably sourced seafood, bringing wild-caught, high-quality seafood from the North Atlantic and the Arctic Ocean to consumers around the globe.

The company operates in a number of towns and settlements in Greenland, with 20 fish processing plants and ship bases of local subsidiary units.

Due to expansion and 25% growth year on year. We are now looking for a Senior Imports Specialist to join the team at their site in Heald Green, near to Manchester Airport with growth plans to manage this imports division for the right individual in the near future.

Your role will involve the full imports cycle mainly sea freight imports with some road freight you will handle the full imports cycle from dealing with shipping lines, customs declarations, chasing goods, progress chasing, dealing with port authorities, liasing with overseas offices and suppliers, all import documentation, customs entries etc.

In order to apply you will need to have an imports background with customs knowledge and procedures understand how the supply chain works You will be looking for a challenge and for an opportunity to grow into a manager of the division of 3 members of staff.
