Senior European Direct Load Planner

Our client is one of the world's leading providers of forwarding and logistics services, specialising in intercontinental airfreight, sea freight and European consignments and the associated supply chain management solutions. Providing global integrated door-to-door forwarding solutions tailored to its clients' individual needs.

An exciting opportunity has now arisen at their West Midlands location for a Senior European Direct Load Planner. Your role will involve Operational managing the full road freight cycle on Full Loads and Part load European movements to all parts of Europe.

Your role will involve taking bookings, arranging collections and deliveries, load and route planning for full and part loads, Exports and Imports Traffic and post departure administration with responsibility for load optimising and profitability.

Using your own network for movements as well as sub-contracting work to outside hauliers.

The ideal candidate should display excellent Full and Part Load Trailer Freight movements excellent communication skills, and be able to work within a busy/ fast paced team.
You will have a good knowledge of the European freight industry, highly experienced, excellent telephone / interpersonal skills, commercially astute, well-motivated, organised and the ability to work well in a busy environment.
