Internal Senior Sales Coordinator

We now have an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and fast-growing IT company, based in West London. Our client is now looking for a Senior Sales Coordinator / Senior Sales Support Executive to join the team with excellent prospects to develop in the sales team.

The company specialises in IT based services to the courier, e-commerce and freight forwarding sector

You will work alongside and support the sales team in order to increase the number of field sales appointments and conduct targeted telesales activity. To provide spot quotations and to follow up sales presentations submitted.

Candidate Credentials:

- IT Sales /Freight or International Forwarding background.
- At least 2 years experience in a Telesales or Sales Support Role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and/or Customer Related Management Systems

Salary £24000 - £30,000 plus excellent benefits and commission

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Prospect for potential new clients and meet agreed level of outbound telesales cold calls per day
2. Key account management of existing business ensuring growth and development
3. Provide contact point for spot rate quotation enquiries
4. Produce and submit to customers spot quotations and keep record
5. Target agreed Gross Profit % margin on all quotations
6. Obtain cost rates from partners, agents and overseas depot as required
7. Follow up all spot quotations with customers for feedback or confirm booking
8. To provide central contact point for sales team
9. Make contact with BDM sales leads in order to obtain field sales appointments
10. Undertake service awareness training to increase technical knowledge
11. Assist sales team, where required, in preparing tenders or submitting large quotations
12. Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and providing feedback and information on market and creative trends.
13. To constantly seek out new revenue generating opportunities

Key skills.

Be a business development professional with a track record of working in the IT/Technology industry or Freight / International forwarding
Knowledge and experience of courier, e-commerce and freight businesses would be desirable
Meeting Sales objectives achievement and success driven
Negotiation skills
Sales planning & reporting
Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain lasting relationships
Have strong oral and written communication skills
Have the ability to prioritise, multi-task and work to targets and deadlines, both independently and as part of a team.

Courier, Express Parcels, Distribution, Logistics, Freight Forwarding, Telesales, Indoor sales, Internal sales.

Salary is circa £30,000 per annum with an excellent commission structure and benefits
