Contract Coordinator - Contract

Our client is a pan-European leader in tailor-made transport, logistics and supply chain solutions, working across road, rail and sea through our Contract Logistics, Freight Management and Assets divisions. Operating from more than 20 strategic locations in 12 countries, where 500+ colleagues are united by a passion for customer and service focus

We are now looking for a Contract Co-ordinator for a 6- 9 Month contract based in Dover, you will be responsible for controlling the collection and delivery of goods on behalf of our customers.

Other key responsibilities will include:
Provide an efficient and cost-effective collection and delivery service using sub-contracted resources
Supply sufficient haulage to ensure service standards are met (including matching collections to deliveries)
Liaise closely with the customer and haulier
Deal with, and resolve, all queries relating to service issues or incidents
Update the in-house computer system
Provide weekly profit margin reports

As Contract Co-ordinator you have experience of operating within a logistics environment and will possess excellent communication and influencing skills with previous freight forwarding experience or experience in a customer focused operational role

Excellent organisational skills, including ability to prioritise and manage own work load
Good IT skills, including MS Word and Excel
Positive customer service attitude
H&S knowledge and awareness would be useful

Benefits:Salary £25000-28000, contributory pension up to 5%, childcare vouchers, 20 days holiday rising to 25 days
