Senior Road Freight Operator / Supervisor

We now have a new opportunity for a Road Freight Forwarding Clerk this will involve Trailer freight both Imports and exports to and from the UK and cross trade throughout Europe.
Joining an already established and successful team you will get involved with all aspects of the road freight cycle.

Responsibilities include taking bookings, quotations, all associated documentation, customs entries using the linked imports and exports customs entries system
Planning the collections and deliveries of groupage, full and part load consignments of both imports and exports throughout Europe
Communicating proactively with the team to ensure the work is being carried out in the most effective way and cost efficient way

In order to apply for this role, you will have

European Trailer freight/Road freight forwarding experience
Confident personality with a can do attitude.
Drive to develop and grow the department by reviewing processes etc.
A professional positive and helpful attitude to work colleagues, suppliers and especially customers.
Commercial acumen with the ability to negotiate directly with clients and suppliers and identify and maximise opportunities to increase both Turnover and profit.
IT literate.

Salary and Benefits
Salary: £28,000 to £35,000 + depending on experience
