Our client is one of the world's largest independent shipping, logistics and marine services provider, with over 200 offices worldwide. Well established with more than 6000 people worldwide they are now looking to recruit at their Manchester for a Freight Forwarding Specialist to work in Sea Freight Exports globally along with EU Road Import and Exports
Your role will involve handling Sea Export and EU Road managing key customers and global clients we are looking for someone that can be the central point of control for a portfolio key customer as well as adhoc freight sea freight and road freight clients.
In order to apply you will need...
Strong knowledge of export ocean freight
Good strong level of sea freight exports experience
Can manage shipment from quotation through to completion.
Team player and ability to work independently.
Haz trained (preferred not essential)
Knowledge of customs processes
Experience in consolidation (preferred not essential)
Knowledge of following markets and requirements: Middle East / Far East / USA
Package and Benefits
Salary to £30,000 to £35,000
37.5Hrs per week
9.00-5.30 (could be flexible to suit)
Flexibility to WFH post-probation for appointments i.e. doctors, MOT etc
30 Days Holiday, plus 8 Bank Holidays, plus 1 x Birthday Holiday (39 in total)
